Privacy policy

Last updated November 4, 2026

Crowdsided has no accounts and no forms. We don't ask for your name or email, and we don't sell personal information we hold, because we hold almost none.

What happens in your browser

Your game progress stays in your browser. When you vote, we receive only which side you picked and a random ID your browser makes (so each browser counts once per question). We keep vote counts plus a scrambled (hashed) version of that random ID next to your pick, only so a browser counts once per question. IP addresses are never stored as such: a hashed form is used for a day to limit vote spamming.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across sites and doesn't build a profile of you. Our host, Cloudflare, also processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Advertising

The site is paid for by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure them. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Children

Crowdsided is a general audience site. Some categories are made for kids; on those pages we show only non-personalized ads and collect no personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date above.
